Xtrepreneur: Escape The Cycle is a unique approach for diverting or re-integrating those that have been in the criminal justice system. It recognizes the specific challenges they face and provides an option for allowing them to get out of The Cycle (recidivism).
The obstacles to re-entry into society are much greater than many think and it very easy to remain in The Cycle. With Xtrepreneur, I present that it is sometimes better to make your own way when the traditional path may be blocked. Anyone that has ever been exposed to the justice system knows that the traditional path to success (or even basic maintenance) is highly obstructed.
After incarceration, the basic human needs still exist of food, clothing, & shelter, but the opportunities to meet these needs are greatly reduced. How? Answer these questions:
> How many of the better paying employers readily hire those with a criminal record?
> With the high cost of living of most major cities, how far can one go on minimum wage?
> Add court costs and restitution payments to the tremendous cost of living and how does one
make it (legally)?
> Aren’t accesses to many public assistance programs substantially reduced with a criminal
record?
> With the lack of education, resources, and opportunities for most offenders, isn’t the probability
of remaining in The Cycle very strong?
You get it... Once you enter The Cycle, it becomes a task to get out.
